GSMA Seminar: Connected Life – Realizing a $1.2 Trillion Opportunity through Mobile Broadband
Join the GSMA at 4G World in Chicago for a seminar on the GSMA’s vision on the ‘Connected Life’ opportunity and the importance of Mobile Broadband for realizing the market potential of mobile connected devices. The Connected Life is a world where consumers and businesses receive new mobile services across multiple devices through ubiquitous Mobile Broadband coverage.
Recent research has shown that mobile connected devices are expected to increase from more than 6 billion today to approximately 12 billion in 2020, resulting in a revenue opportunity of approximately US$1.2 trillion for mobile operators and providing significant growth potential and wireless innovation.
The session will explore the role and importance of Mobile Broadband technologies (UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+ and LTE) in making the Connected Life a reality and the market potential for the mobile industry and adjacent industries – from healthcare to automotive to consumer electronics.
The GSMA seminar will take place on Wednesday October 26, 1:00-1:45PM, Room S-401, 4G World, Chicago.
