Operators are transforming their networks by deploying 4G HSPA+ 42Mbps, LTE FDD, and TD-LTE technologies, expanding their backhaul capacity, and are starting to integrate small cells and Wi-Fi to address rapid growth of mobile data traffic. 4G LTE is moving into the mainstream with over 200 global network deployments, but even so the capital investment is significant and return on investment is not guaranteed. How can operators plan and deploy the most cost effective 4G infrastructure leveraging the latest RAN, Backhaul, Packet Core and Cloud technologies?


4G Network Deployment (Track 1)

As they gain experience, mobile operators and their vendors are developing best practices for 4G network deployment leveraging the latest RAN technologies. This track will focus on how to plan and deploy the most cost effective 4G network infrastructure, including HetNets, Small Cells, Cloud RAN, in-building DAS solutions Carrier Wi-Fi and offload.

4G Backhaul and Core Network (Track 4)

Backhaul has emerged as a major challenge in deploying highly scalable and cost effective 4G networks. Operators need fiber to their macro towers, high capacity transmission with wireless and NLOS backhaul for small cells. The 4G packet core is also evolving in light of cloud platforms and core network virtualization. In this track attendees will learn how to plan and deploy next-gen 4G backhaul and pack core technologies.
