Joseph Sandri
Mr. Sandri has served as Senior Vice President, Government & Regulatory, for FiberTower Corp. and its predecessor, First Avenue Networks, since May 2005.
Previously Mr. Sandri worked for 10 years in the Winstar-IDT Companies, where his last position was President for IDT Spectrum, Inc, a fixed wireless carriers’ carrier. From 1992-1995 he served in private practice as a telecommunications attorney for Keller & Heckman, LLP, a firm specializing in wireless and wireline networks for utilities, equipment manufacturers and the oil & gas industry.
He earlier interned with the FCC, and prior to law school served as Sports Anchor for WRBL, a CBS Television affiliate. He has testified in the Senate on network diversity and fixed wireless matters; served on the U.S. National Spectrum Committee; and participated in various ITU and World Radio Conferences. He serves on the boards of the Wireless Communications Association International (WCAI) and the National Spectrum Managers Association (NSMA)
