4G Dashboard – Behind the Demand

Are your 4G services improving or degrading your customers’ experiences?

While we know that 4G services are faster than 3G, few operators and device manufacturers can objectively measure what their customers are doing with new 4G services and connect those measurements to their effects on customer experience. To address this measurement gap, this session will look at metrics and dashboards that visualize customer usage data and correlate usage to customer experience.

The visualizations we’ll show in this session employ actual user data automatically collected from Yankee Group’s opt-in Mobile Adoption Panel of smartphone users, and we’ll apply that data to answer questions such as:

• What are the demographics of big-bandwidth smartphone users?
• What smartphone brands create the most bandwidth demand?
• What are the most popular downloadable apps?
