Innovative Outdoor Architectures

Spectrum constraints along with growth in broadband data traffic are forcing mobile network operators (MNOs) to look at new network architectures to manage these challenges. This has led to increased market interest in small cells, outdoor DAS deployments, Wi-Fi for mobile offload, remote radio units and integrated antenna/radio solutions. As with most network solutions, however, these new architectures bring their own issues. How can MNOs manage the increased number of network elements? How can they integrate these elements into the greater macro network? What are the zoning concerns? This panel will discuss these different network architectures and what MNOs will face as they try to implement them.
