Lead Member of Technical Staff, Architecture and Planning, AT&T
Gary Munson is a Lead Member of AT&T’s Architecture & Planning Technical Staff, and currently focuses on service standards. Gary currently serves as ATIS Cloud Services Forum’s Vice Chair, and in various working groups in the OMA, 3GPP, TM Forum, and IETF.
Since beginning with AT&T in 1981, Gary has worked intelligent network architecture, capabilities and services. His work has spanned areas including IP services migration to next-generation standards planning, including: IMS architecture, charging, network management, information modeling, network service APIs, service-oriented networks, service activation, operator services, VoIP network interface testing.
Gary holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University
