Jeff Burlock, Senior Vice President Strategic Technology, Xplornet Communications Inc. With its unique hybrid technology strategy, Xplornet Communications Inc has grown in five short years to over 140,000 customers and is today Canada’s leading rural broadband service provider. As one of the founders of the company, Jeff was responsible for the creation and implementation of the hybrid technology strategy that employs both satellite and fixed wireless as a solution to address the challenging geography and population densities of rural Canada. Currently in his role as SVP Strategic Technology, he is responsible for the creation of a long term technology strategy of Xplornet.
Prior to Xplornet, Jeff held various positions related to technology, at McCain Foods Limited where he had global responsibilities for communications, network computing, intranet, Internet and client server computing.
Jeff received a Diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology from New Brunswick Community College in 1983.
