Senior Director, Service Provider, Mobility and Security Solutions, Juniper Networks

Nagesh Kittur, has been a seasoned business leader in the networking industry for over twenty years. His experience spans engineering and marketing roles in the areas of chip design, networking systems architecture, product management and solutions marketing for enterprise, service provider, and SMB market segments. Currently, as Senior Director of Service Provider Marketing, Nagesh is responsible for marketing Juniper’s mobility solutions that are critical to leading the Mobile Internet Transformation through infrastructure scaling and performance, new business models, and compelling integrated user experience.

Prior to joining Juniper, Nagesh led numerous product management and marketing initiatives in the areas of switching, routing, wireless, incident management and radio systems interoperability, and policy networking at Cisco Systems. During the last three years, Nagesh led Cisco’s Service Provider Mobility Solutions marketing and championed thought leadership around 4G=IP to capture the market transition to LTE.  In addition, Nagesh, as one of the founders of Safety and Security Systems Business Unit at Cisco Systems, defined and executed Cisco’s strategy to address the critical communications interoperability and collaboration needs of Public Safety and Home Land Security. Prior to that, Nagesh had product line responsibilities for Cisco Aironet wireless LAN solutions for both enterprise and public access markets, and grew the business to over $500M.

During his formative days, Nagesh designed chips and systems at Intel and Hewlett-Packard.
Nagesh has an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.  Nagesh is a patent holder (7 Granted, 12 filed), a published poet and author, an avid toastmaster, and a marathon runner.
