Steven Brightfield currently serves as director of product management for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT). In this role, Brightfield oversees the product roadmaps and product management functions for the cellular access network products including CSM, FSM and FTR solutions spanning macro, pico, metro-femto and integrated cellular access for 3G and 4G air interfaces in 3GPP and 3GPP2. This involves all aspects of product planning, definition, and commercialization.
Brightfield brings nearly 30 years of experience to Qualcomm. Prior to joining the company, he held positions at established semiconductor vendors LSI Logic and Plessey Semiconductors in multimedia, wireless and product management as well as founding the semiconductor intellectual property licensing firm Centamicron.
Brightfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
