Udayan Mukherjee leads Intel’s effort in defining system architecture, product definition and technologies needed in baseband , packet and control processing for wireless base Stations, Access Gateways and other network elements based on various communications standards (3G, LTE, LTE-Advanced). P
rior to this role, he led the technical effort in developing modular blade servers inside Intel and guided activities in developing blades industry standards (PICMG, Service Availability Forum). Before joining Intel in 2000, he spent 14 years at various companies, including more than seven years at Hewlett-Packard, developing carrier grade servers for telecom (gateways, switches) and other High Availability infrastructure.
Udayan is a senior member of IEEE & ACM .
